Timothy S. McClintock, Ph.D., the inventor of the Odorcept assay, did his Ph.D. training at the University of Florida and postdoctoral training at Yale University. Since 2004 he has been the Louis Boyarsky Professor of Physiology at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He has published more than 60 original papers and review articles on olfaction. His particular expertise is on the molecular biology of the odorant receptor genes, the function of the odorant receptor proteins, and the cell biology of the olfactory sensory neurons.
Tomoko Sengoku, Ph.D. is the Director of operations and Senior Scientist at Odorcept. She is an expert in molecular neurobiology and an experienced science administrator. She did her research training at the University of Kentucky, earning a Ph.D. in 2004.
